Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Gardens

The architecture, rocks, plants and water are artfully combined in a serene and striking setting, Modelled on one of the great Classical Gardens in Bejing. The garden is named for the founder of the first Chinese Republic, who visited Vancouver many times. Facilities include guided tours, special events, and a gift shop.
Irving House

Captain William Irving had this house built in 1865, when New Westminster was still the capital of the mainland colony of British Columbia. He furnished it with the best that could be shipped to the West Coast.
Vancouver Police Centennial Museum

The museum collection consists of approximately 10 000 objects, papers, photographs and published materials relating to the history of policing in Vancouver. Highlights include the Coroner’s forensic exhibit, the counterfeit currency exhibit and the rare and confiscated weapons display.

Vancouver Maritime Museum

The Vancouver Maritime Museum focuses on the Pacific coast's maritime history, culture, technology and art. Visit the RCMP schooner St Roch, the first ship to make a return trip through the Northwest Passage. For children there is the 'hands on' Maritime Discovery Centre, and various other exhibits showcase various types of shipping topics in the region, including shipwrecks, lighthouses, pirates and deep sea exploration.
Roedde House Museum

This museum has been fully restored to its late Victorian splendour. Designed by the famous architect Francis Rattenbury the house is Queen Anne Revival style. The houses garden has also been authentically landscaped to reflect the time the house was built. Roedde House is part of Barclay Heritage Square that includes nine historic homes.

The Sport Fishing Museum boasts one of the world's largest collections of Sport Fishing history and equipment. The Museum is home to an extensive collection including Hardy Brothers reels, rare art, fly plates, salmon fishing history, Ralph Wahl photographs and more. The Model Trains Museum on Granville Island is home of the world's largest collection of model and toy trains on public display. Explore the museums' unbelievable working diorama. The Model Trains Museum houses many collectable trains, photographs and dioramas including: The Royal Hudson, Lionel Trains, "O" Gauge, "G" Gauge, Standard Gauge, Steam Locomotives and Tender, Transcontinental Trains, Brass Locomotives and many more models trains, toy trains and photographs.
Model Ships Museum

The Model Ships Museum is home to an impressive international collection of model ships, submarines, battleships, warships and toy boats. The Ships Museum features large scale models of HMS Bounty, Bismark, nuclear submarines, aircraft carriers, warships, sailing vessels, and various coastal work boats and tugs. A hobby enthusiasts dream. The showpiece of the museum is a 13 foot long cast bronze replica of HMS Hood.
